TURKISH COMPOSITE 2017 COMPOSITE SUMMIT organized by Turkish Composites Manufacturers Association for the 3rd time in the Turkish Composite Sector was held at Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar International Congress and Exhibition Center on 5-6-7 October 2017.
Vasip Şahin- Istanbul Governor, Mustafa Çalışkan-Vice Head of Department of Renewable Energy Sources, Selçuk Aksoy-Head of PLASFED, Yavuz Eroğlu-Head of PAGEV and Reha Gür-Head of PAGDER, together with a large number of visitors, initiated the Composite Summit, which opened doors to visitors by opening ceremony on October 5, 2017 at 10:00.
In the event, 84 companies and organizations from 10 different countries including our country have shared the latest technological products and developments in the Composite Sector on 84 product exhibition areas with visitors. Within 3 days, 2639 people (161 people from 33 different foreign countries and 2478 from our country) visited the event.
In the seminar section of the event, 25 important technical presentations and 17 commercial presentations were made during 3 days and the publications that are allowed to be published will be included in our web pages.
This year, for the first time in the demo tent set up at the entrance of the fair area, “Introduction Hands-on Training to Vacuum Infusion” was provided and visitors showed great attention to this training.
Again in order to reward the companies, institutions and organizations that have provided significant benefits to the Composite Sector with its products and contributions in the last two years; Awards were presented to Superlit Boru Sanayi A.Ş in the category of “Sales of the Highest Composite Product in 2016”, Polin Su Parkları ve Havuz Sistemleri A.Ş. in the category of “2016 Highest Composite Exports” and Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the category of “Top Contributors to the 2017 Composite Sector Events” at a ceremony held before the Gala Dinner in the evening of 2nd day of the event where nearly 200 member from sector participated.
In this year’s event,, in cooperation with the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO), the BTSO Composite Cluster and the Bursa Technology Coordination and R&D Center (BUTEKOM) were invited to take part in our event and under the scope of the URGE Project, more than 80 business people from 20 different countries such as Hungary, Slovenia, Russia etc. visited the purchase delegations and also bilateral negotiations with companies participating in our event were provided.
The event held for the 3rd time in the Composite Sector gained appreciation of participant, visitor and stakeholders who participated as guest, and this appreciation has been expressed during and after the event with various kinds of means.
As Turkish Composites Manufacturers Association, we would like to emphasize that our efforts to make the sector an international brand without sacrificing any self-sacrifice will continue in future. We inform you that our event will be shared with the sector with an increasing momentum every 2 years.
